By the end of this module, participants will have had the opportunity to: Explore the purpose of the NDIS Practice Standards. Develop awareness of quality and safeguarding requirements. Reflect on participant rights and person-centred practice. Increase understanding of safe and ethical service delivery. Explore the role of policies, procedures, and compliance. Develop awareness of professional responsibilities within support environments. Reflect on dignity, choice, inclusion, and participant wellbeing. Build introductory understanding of continuous improvement and quality practice. This resource is designed for parents, caregivers, educators, support workers, allied health professionals, behaviour support practitioners, counsellors, and anyone supporting a child or young person. No prior knowledge of play therapy is required, making this resource accessible for both families and professionals seeking to better understand the importance of therapeutic relationships and their role in supporting children's emotional wellbeing and development. Do I Receive a Certificate? This training is recognised as equivalent to 2 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) / Professional Development (PD). Participants are encouraged to retain their certificate as evidence of ongoing professional learning and development. A certificate of completion is provided upon successful completion of the training.
