Evidence-based assessments may include observations, interviews, questionnaires, data collection, functional assessment processes, and other tools that help practitioners, educators, and families make informed decisions. High-quality assessment helps ensure that supports are individualised, meaningful, and responsive to the person's unique circumstances and goals. Who Is This Resource For? This resource is designed for parents, caregivers, educators, support workers, allied health professionals, behaviour support practitioners, counsellors, and anyone supporting a child or young person who may be experiencing sensory differences or sensory-related challenges. No prior knowledge of sensory processing is required, making this resource accessible for both families and professionals seeking practical insights into behaviour and sensory experiences. Do I receive a certificate? This training is recognised as equivalent to 2 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) / Professional Development (PD). Participants are encouraged to retain this certificate as evidence of their ongoing professional learning and development. Participants receive a certificate on completion.
